The PariPesa login screen accepts three different identifiers, and knowing that solves most access problems on its own. 2. Enter your Zambian number with the country code — +260 followed by the nine digits, no leading zero.
3. Type your password and confirm.
4. If two-factor is switched on, enter the SMS code sent to that number.

Why a PariPesa login fails, and what fixes it

There are two sign-up routes and the choice has consequences later. One-Click asks only for a phone number and hands you an account in seconds — convenient, but it leaves the profile empty. Full Registration takes three minutes more and is what stops your first withdrawal being frozen for checks.

1. Tap Registration at the top of the home screen.
2. Pick One-Click or Full Registration.
3. One-Click: country Zambia (+260), your number, currency Zambian kwacha (ZMW), confirm. A user ID and temporary password arrive by SMS.
4. Full Registration: phone or email, your own password, ZMW, then tick the 18+ box and the terms.
5. Confirm the number with the OTP.
6. Sign in and finish the profile before you deposit anything.

PariPesa Zambia app download for Android

The PariPesa Zambia app download is an APK from the operator’s own site, not a Play Store install. Google keeps real-money betting apps out of most African storefronts, Zambia included, so the file comes direct and Android asks for one temporary permission to install it. Two minutes, no cost.

1. In Chrome, open the official download page and tap the Android button. On a laptop, scan the QR code with the phone instead.
2. Wait for the download to finish completely before touching the file. An APK stopped at 90 % looks whole and refuses to open.
3. Android will say it blocked the install. Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps and allow Chrome. Older phones: Settings → Security → Unknown sources.
4. Reopen the file from Downloads and install.
5. Sign in, or register if this is a new account.
6. Go back and switch that Chrome permission off. It was needed once.

Updating to the latest version

Outside the Play Store nothing updates itself. The app flags a new release, but you fetch the current APK and install it on top. Install over, do not uninstall first: uninstalling wipes the saved login, while installing over keeps your account, bet history and settings intact. A look at the official page once a month is enough, and it is the only way security and cashier fixes reach your phone.

When the APK will not install

PariPesa on iPhone in Zambia

Apple only allows real-money gambling apps from operators licensed in that storefront’s country, so there is no PariPesa app in the Zambian App Store, and an APK is useless on iOS — wrong format. What works is a home-screen shortcut created in Safari, which opens full screen and handles betting, the cashier and live odds exactly like an installed app.

In Safari (not Chrome, the option does not exist there): open the official page, tap the Share icon at the bottom, scroll to Add to Home Screen, name it, tap Add. Done. It costs no storage, updates itself with the site, and supports Face ID after the first sign-in. The only real loss is push notifications, which iOS throttles for web apps.

Deposits and withdrawals in Zambian kwacha

An account set to ZMW shows the Zambian payment options in the cashier. Mobile money is the practical route for most players — Airtel Money, MTN Mobile Money and Zamtel Kwacha are the three networks operating in the country — alongside e-wallets and cryptocurrency for those who prefer them. Open Cashier → Deposit, pick your method, enter the amount in kwacha, and approve the prompt that arrives on your phone with your mobile money PIN. Withdrawals run the same way under Cashier → Withdraw.

Current minimums, maximums and fees are shown in the cashier itself and on the deposit and withdrawal methods page — they move, so read them there rather than trusting a figure quoted on any review site. When a payout is slow, the cause is usually on the account side rather than the network: verification not finished, bonus wagering still locking the balance, or a name that does not match the wallet.

What the app covers

Nothing is trimmed compared with the desktop site. Football leads — the Zambia Super League and Chipolopolo fixtures alongside the Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League — and beyond it sit basketball, tennis, boxing, rugby, cricket, darts and esports. A major match runs to several hundred markets, and the in-play screen holds odds movement, your open bets, live statistics and the cash-out button on one page. Is PariPesa legal in Zambia? Licence and regulation

This deserves a straight answer rather than a marketing one, because Zambia’s position differs from its neighbours’.

Betting and gaming in Zambia sit under the Lotteries and Betting Control Board, working from the Betting Control Act (Chapter 166, amended by Act No. 50 of 2021) and the related lotteries and pools legislation. That framework was written for physical betting shops and lotteries. Online gambling is not a licensed category in Zambia — there is no domestic online betting licence for an operator to hold, which is why international sites reach Zambian players from offshore jurisdictions instead.

What that means for you in practice: your account is governed by Curaçao rules, and a dispute you cannot settle with support goes to the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, not to an authority you can reach in Lusaka. There is no PariPesa call centre in Lusaka. Support runs through the in-app chat and by email, around the clock. Any number circulating as an “official PariPesa Zambia phone number” does not belong to the operator, and in most reported cases exists to collect an OTP. In order of usefulness:
